Blue Water Ship.

-I have very much neglected this Blog over the past few months.  Many things to deal with; all good though in case you are wondering. So, before I attack another subject or even complete a few of the previous threads that have left in suspend, I am jumping in with a filler prompted by the web site.  https://www.sailing anarchy.com
You have to go to the site on the Cruising Forum and scroll down to the following title:
"Aluminium centerboard 46-52 blue water cruising go anywhere".

-Well, we are going somewhere on this topic. A while back, and too many moons ago, the yachting magazine Blue Water came around with a Design Competition to best adapt a boat for the storage of a 10' Walker Tender Dinghy. But there is more to this, the boat reflects my thoughts about an aluminum "blue water cruiser to go anywhere and everywhere.

Hard to believe this boat is only 37' on deck. Not included are the skirt and the dinghy on the stern.

-A different version, with twin keels and a modified accommodation plan. Notice the longer roof.

       - TYD#271 is another aluminum Blue Water Ship, sharing the Wide Body shape on a 40' length. The boat was designed for charter and fitted with a lifting ballasted daggerboard and twin rudders.

- Here is the original text that I sent about the idea, the virtue and the thinking behind TYD#240. The original Blue Water Ship.
