Test my I.M.O.C.A's to the start of the Vendee Globe 2024.

Model NO. 2024 - This is a re-launch on the subject of my own IMOCA's Designs, from 2020, up to the Vendee Globe 2024.
MODEL 2024

- I have neglected the issue for many other reasons, but I have not stopped drawing

developments as I observed the evolution of the Class in 2020 to 2024.

For earlier designed versions 2020; 2021; 2022s; 2023. Please.

Search: IMOCA

You will see a list of writing and Designs materials dedicated to that previous period of time.

-Now, I will reopen the dialogue with the last Model drafted in 2024.

-With the Model of 2024, I have pushed to the maximum the envelope that makes an IMOCA for the

Vendee Globe. The consideration for downwind speed being prevalent in this event.

The Beam on deck, and at the waterline has been pushed forward to present a lifting surface to ride the

waves earlier. Typically, the width of an Imoca boat is placed further aft by one, two or even

three stations abaft the middle.

I choose the Station 9 out of 20 to place the beam, so ahead of the middle section.

Also adopted are narrower widths for the deck and the waterline.

The center of buoyancy is therefore advanced and by coincidence placed on station 9.

MODEL. 2021

MODEL 2020.

- The widest of the fleet, almost to the maximum allowed and the first to be shown on this platform. Also, with a very flat midsection for a minimum depth, conducting to a more angular plan form. Being wider at the stern, the chine line appears elevated with a downward slant towards the bow.

- And the Epitome of the 2024-2025 Vendee Globe event. MACIF and PAPREC-ARKEA.
